Day two of Cannes yet again began with utmost style and glamour. Stars have hit the red carpet and the parties at Cannes with a bang. Deepika Padukone looked like a goddess on the red carpet, apart from her, Shruti Hassan made her red carpet debut. Lets take a look at some of the most gorgeous styles…
For her second red carpet appearance, Deepika Padukone looked like a fierce goddess in a emerald green Brandon Maxwell gown with a long train behind her. Celebrity stylist Elizabeth Saltzman chose the elegant gown by Brandon Maxwell for her this time. Apart from the long train and her figure flattering gown, what steals the show is those sky-high velvet green heels by Chloe Gosselin. The exquisite jewellery which consisted of earrings and a bracelet was De Grisogono and it added just the enough shimmer to her look. Deepika goes for dramatic smokey eyes and keeps her lips muted for added effect. She finished her look with chic classic uptight bun.
Emily Ratajkowski sheer lace gown from Peter Dundas on the day 2 of the Cannes Film festival. It was a gothic style tiered black gown. The dress featured of a cut out breast panel, with sheer shoulders and an intricate floral embellished cat suit. Emily restricted her accessories on the night, opting for simple diamond earrings and a chunky statement ring. As for make-up she opted for smokey eyes and finished her look with her brunette locks effortlessly styled with a simple center parting.
Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima, looked stunning in an elegant white evening dress that accentuated her toned physique. The bottom of the gown featured a fishtail hem with a train sweeping behind her. Her tresses were pulled back with lengths cascading down her shoulders. The only pop of colour was her red lipstick with smouldering smokey eye. Adriana wore a dazzling choker.
Susan Sarandon wowed the red carpet in a chic leather skirt paired with a crisp white shirt.The crisp white shirt was tucked into her lengthy leather skirt. She paired a cropped black tuxedo jacket with her outfit. Obviously she did not forget to wear her black sunglasses and a pair of of black sling back kitten heels.
Shruti Haasan made her Cannes debut on day 2. For the occasin she picked up picked an Avaro Figilio black gown, featuring a rise-and-fall hemline, a massive bow on the bodice and dramatic sleeves. She wore Christian Louboutin shoes which gave the 50s glamour feel. She styled her hair with light wavy curls. She finished her look with red lips and a dramatic eyeliner. Before her red carpet appearance, she was snapped in a velvet jumpsuit by Bibhu Mohapatra.
Nandita Das also graced the Cannes film festival to launch her film Manto. Nandita picked up a peach Anavila zari sari for the night. Her hair was neatly tied in a bun. As for accessories she wore rings and bangles along with heavy ethnic jhumkis.
Uma Thurman wore a full-length pink satin skirt and jewelled black sandals on to ther red carpet. Uma ditched her red carpet tradition and opted for a black leather biker jacket, with fuzzy shearling collar. She stood out from the rest and posed confidently on the red carpet.
