They are immaculately tailored, with bold prints Bollywood has already made the suit a trend on the red carpet by ditching gowns. We bring you 5 ways in which you can totally rock a suit be it on the red carpet or at your work place.
Alia Bhatt looked super sexy in this red Dior pantsuit. Alia teamed it with a contrast printed body suit underneath with nude pumps as well. While we felt the suit needed a bit of tailored fitting, Alia totally rocked the look. Alia completed her look with bright red lipstick and puffy ponytail. Kareena Kapoor Khan looks smart and sophisticated in a tailored three-piece Ashish N Soni suit. She opted to go shirtless for this outing. Bebo looked exceptionally chic with the sleek middle parted ponytail, suede pumps and fresh makeup. To accessorize a tailored suit like that of Bebo, one can opt for ornate jewellery also. If you want to make a unforgettable style statement, simply opt for a cut-out power suit. Kalki Koechlin wore a peach coloured Nikhil Thampi suit at the London Film Festival. Kalki accessorized the cutout suit with a Manish Arora for Amrapali haath-phool and Tod’s black clutch. She finished out the look with black sandals. The suit had a detailing along the waist and a slit along the inner sleeves, adding some edge to this sleek look. If one is opting for such minute detailing on the outfit, the accessorizing has to be kept minimum, one can either opt for a standout clutch or a bold cocktail ring to go with it. Kiara accessorized her look with an Outhouse necklace. We loved the cut detail on Kiara’s pant, which totally steals the show. With the dash of colour on the jacket, one can go without the necklace. (Image Courtesy- Instagram)
Sonam Kapoor fantastically worked the Dolce and Gabbana tuxedo. She accessorized it with Coral Christian Louboutin pumps and red lips completed the look. Sonam styled the suit with a white blouse with a layered collar and black satin ribbon accent. Her hair was coiffed into a 20s style do with a ponytail cascading down her back.
